Overview
  • Ordered List This module can be used with the development board backplane or independently.
  • This module is for learning use and is prohibited for commercial use. Module schematics and PCB are provided, and users can design and use them by themselves.
  • This module uses W25Q16 FLASH chip packaged as SOIC-208mil. This serial flash memory provides storage solutions for limited space, pins and power supply systems. The chip performance of the W25 series is greater than that of ordinary serial flash memory devices and chip arrays. It consists of 4096 programmable pages of 256 bytes.
  • The chip can be replaced according to personal needs. Its model numbers are W25Q32, W25Q64, and W25Q128, and the memory chip package is SOIC-208mil.
  • Technical Parameters:
  1. Working voltage: 2.5 ~ 3.6 V
  2. Power consumption: 4mA when reading and writing (active), less than 1μA when low power consumption (power-down)
  3. Capacity: 8M-bit/1M-byte, including 4096 pages (each page size is 256 bytes)
  4. Interface: Standard/Dual/Quad SPI, supports clock frequency up to 104MHz
  5. Supports Sector/Block erasure in units of 4/32/64k-bytes
  6. Write up to 256 bytes at a time
  7. Software/hardware write protection function
  8. Keep data for a long time

  • Pin definition:
  • VCC: The power supply voltage of this module is 3.3V, which is powered by the development board;
  • CS: Chip select input of the module, which can enable or disable device operation;
  • SO: data output;
  • SI: data input;
  • CLK: Serial clock input, providing the timing of serial input and output.
  • GND: power ground

  • Note: When using and installing this module with the development board, please note that the direction of the arrow marked on the board is consistent with the marking on the development board. Inserting it backwards will cause the module to not work or even burn the chip on the module.
