GD3162 Half-Bridge Evaluation Kit

Overview

The FRDMGD3162HBIEVM is a half-bridge evaluation kit with two GD3162 single-channel IGBT/SiC MOSFET gate driver devices installed. The kit contains the Freedom KL25Z microcontroller hardware, connected to a PC with Flex GUI software installed, and can be daisy-chained or configured independently to communicate with the SPI registers on the GD3162 gate driver.

The KITGD316xTREVB conversion board is used to convert the 3.3 V signal between the MCU and the GD3162 gate driver to a 5.0 V signal. This evaluation kit can be connected to HP Drive power modules for half-bridge evaluation and application development.
