Some time ago, I found some LED dot matrix screens at Laowujia. The size is larger than the MAX7219 dot matrix recommended by HACK.
Personally, I think it is very suitable for DIY a large matrix clock, so after a period of copying, the first version was released.
The upper one in the picture above is made from HACK's file, the middle one is also the MAX7219 module recommended by HACK, and the bottom one is our large protagonist.
Due to lack of experience, the actual display of the dot matrix is rotated 90° and sorted upside down. Normally, the actual display of 1234 is 4321.
So with the second version of the hardware, based on the first version, the 8266 driver circuit was added to a PCB.
