I recently refreshed the router and found that the computer had no network port, so I found the RTL8152B solution on the Internet.
RTL8152B sells for more than 7 yuan at Uxin Electronics. The network port is removed from the previous router, and a patch RJ45 port is used to reduce the height.
The schematic diagram is based on the open source RTL8152 project of epoko
This is the result after soldering, but the FLASH is not soldered on the reverse side.
There are 4 indicator lights in total, which have the following functions:
Software configuration
Theoretically, it can be used directly after welding.
The network card MAC can be modified in RtPGtoolUI. These data are saved in EFUSE and have a limit on the number of modifications. Press Dump to read the data in EFUSE. When all FFs in EFUSE have been written, the data cannot be modified. .
1. By default, the MAC is all 0. It is best to change the MAC.
2. You also need to check LINK_OK in the software and turn on the "network port not connected" indicator light.
3. Check SPI_FLASH_EN, enable FLASH, and the FLASH capacity is at least 4MB, which is used to store drivers. When the driver is not installed on the computer, the computer will display as a CD-ROM drive with the burned-in driver in it, because I still cannot burn the driver. file, so I simply didn’t post the flash.
4. Finally, click the Program button to burn the above data into EFUSE.
