Since I went home during the winter vacation and left the USB docking station I bought on Taobao in my dormitory, my laptop only has three USB ports.
The keyboard, mouse, and ESP-12F small TV made from the Internet all occupied the USB port of the laptop, which made me need to unplug and plug in peripherals such as keyboard and mouse when playing with the development board, which was very uncomfortable.
As a veteran Bai Piao party, I don’t want to spend money to buy a USB docking station, so I plan to make a USB docking station myself!
The price is really discouraging.
And the cost of making it yourself will not exceed 5 yuan! !
The USB chip uses the SL2.1A chip, which can be expanded to four ports! SL2.1A is a highly integrated, high-performance, low-power USB2.0 hub main control chip;
The chip adopts STT technology, single power supply mode, the chip power supply voltage is 5v, you only need to add a filter capacitor to the external power supply; the chip can use an external crystal or a built-in crystal.
If you use the built-in crystal, you need to connect the XN pin of the chip to ground! ! The key point is that the main control price is only 1.8!
The pin diagram is shown below

Since there is no USB female connector on hand and the USB male connector is too inconvenient to supply power, a TYPE-C data cable is used for power supply. The length of the cable is 25cm, which makes it easy to adjust the placement of the docking station.

PS: If you want the docking station to look better, you can consider 3D printing.
