KIT33975AEWEVBE: Evaluation Kit - 33975, MSDI, 32mA wake-up suppression

Overview

This evaluation kit uses the 33975. The 33975 is a multi-switch detection interface with wake suppression designed to detect the closing and opening of up to 22 switch contacts. The switch status (on or off) is transmitted to the microprocessor (MCU) through a serial peripheral interface (SPI). The device also features a 22-to-1 analog multiplexer that reads inputs as analog values.

The 33975 device has two operating modes: normal mode and sleep mode. Normal mode allows the device to be programmed to provide pull-up or pull-down current to the switch contacts when a change in switch state is detected. Sleep mode provides low quiescent current, making the 33975 ideal for automotive and industrial control products requiring low sleep state current. Feature improvements include a programmable interrupt timer for sleep mode (can be disabled); 32 mA and 4.0 mA switch sense current for the ground switch input; and an interrupt bit that can be reset.

This evaluation kit works with KITUSBSPIDGLEVME .
