Overview

Question D Arbitrary Waveform Generator
1. Task
Design and make an arbitrary waveform generator that can generate sine waves, square waves, and triangle waves.
The waveform generator can ensure constant voltage output within a certain range.
2. Requirements
1. Basic requirements
(1) The waveform generator can generate three periodic signals: sine wave, square wave, and triangle wave;
(2) The frequency range of the output waveform is 100Hz ~ 100kHz; the frequency is adjustable, and the frequency step interval is ≤
100Hz;
(3) Under 50Ω load condition, the maximum peak-to-peak value
of the output voltage is ≥2V; (4) The function of displaying the type, repetition frequency (period) and amplitude of the output waveform;
(5) No obvious distortion when observed with an oscilloscope .
2 . Functional part
(1) The frequency range of the sinusoidal signal is extended to 1Hz ~ 10MHz, further increasing the square wave and triangular wave
output frequencies.
(2) It has the function of setting the output frequency and frequency step;
(3) Under the 50Ω load condition, the maximum peak-to-peak value of the output voltage is ≥5V;
(4) It has the function of displaying the waveform type, frequency and amplitude;
(5) It can output At least one arbitrary waveform.
3. Description
1. The frequency adjustment method of the basic part can be analog or digital, while the frequency adjustment of the functional part
can only be digital.
2. To use some output frequencies and frequency steps, you need to use the keyboard to set them.
3. The type of arbitrary waveform can be selected and the frequency can be changed.
