MINI-PCIE to Gigabit network card RTL8111E/F

Overview

This is a MINI-PCIE to Gigabit network card that has been verified and tested 7*24h (there is a small bug for the time being, but it does not affect use!!!).
Please download the latest VT1.2 version! ! ! When you see that this project is open source, the circuit board has actually reached the VT1.2 version. After experiencing VT1.0 and VT1.1, you can finally eat it with confidence! ! ! (You can open it with a programmer to see my special instructions for optimization and changes in each version)

Chip description:
RTL8111E and RTL8111F are pin-to-pin and have the same functions;
so you can just buy one of the two chips.
The only difference is In terms of price, the new original price is: RTL8111E 15 yuan/piece; RTL8111F 7.5 yuan/piece.
In fact, I don’t know the difference between RTL8111E and RTL8111F? !
RTL8111E (left) RTL8111F (right) Both have been verified and can be used! ! !

Instructions for cutting the board:
The cut-out board looks like this (pictured below):
I did this to be compatible with both full-height and half-height sizes! ! ! (Full-height is used directly; half-height requires manual cutting;)
If you know that your MINI-PCIE size is half-height, you can clone it and modify it to half-height size! ! !
If you don’t know whether your interface is MINI-PCIE full-height or half-height; please use my board directly and try installing the MINI-PCIE interface of your chassis with a blank board! ! !

Board instructions:
Board type: FR-4
Number of layers: Four-layer
board Thickness: 1.0MM
Structure: 7628
Impedance requirements: Impedance ±20% required (Long live prostitution!!!)
Pad plating: Immersion gold or lead Spray tin (I choose lead spray tin, students are poor!, rich people can choose immersion gold! If you choose immersion gold thickness, choose 1u")
Gold (tin) finger bevel: not required (MINI-PCIE does not require bevel ! !
Other defaults! !

Welding instructions:
If you use manual soldering,
it depends on your own chassis space ! Weld a curved or straight pin to an empty board and try to install it to see if there is a short circuit or if it cannot be installed.
Weld the back: (I am welding by hand, so the welding is crooked!)

Material purchase instructions:
Because there are few types of materials, Since it’s not too much, we won’t provide a bill of materials.
Just put in the following table the key things you want to buy (their prices are all bought on Aobao).
Whether you have a curved pin or a straight pin depends on your own chassis space. You can take a blank board and weld a curved pin. Or try to install it with straight pins to see if there will be a short circuit or it can't be installed.

BUG description:
When you use MINI-PCIE to convert the network card, after you unplug the network cable, the computer still shows that the network cable is still connected. ! It’s a big deal, but it doesn’t affect our normal use.

Description of MAC address conflict:
If you find that the built-in network card and the MINI-PCIE network card you installed are the same, please change the MINI-PCIE network card MAC address! If you conflict and do not modify the MAC address, you will be unable to surf the Internet! !)
Solution: (Take WIN10 as an example! Follow the step-by-step instructions below)
First connect the MINI-PCIE network card with a network cable
. Attributes (as shown below), select Advanced (as shown below), find the network Address attribute, change the value that does not exist and use online random generation of MAC addresses (note! We need the generated MAC address to be the full MAC address, no need for any spacer! !) (as shown below) Finally restart the computer! ! Download the driver in the attachment. Special instructions: (Do not read this

section  . Please pay attention to the consequences! Thank you for your cooperation!) If you want to buy a chip, please disassemble it before powering it on ! Check the chip again ! Please pay attention to whether there is any sign of short circuit. Please use two Dupont wires to pull 3.3V and GND from the pin header to see if the current is too large (normal standby current is 40-60mA). Install it into the computer QQ communication group: 362898144. There are currently very few people in the QQ group. Welcome everyone to come in for technical exchanges! ! !
