[Verified] Small size TP4057 charging module

 
Overview

2023-2 update instructions:
Input VIN and GND for charging, connect B+B- to the battery, and connect the output to B+GND, the protection circuit will take effect;
since cc does not have a pull-down resistor, there may be compatibility issues.
The V2 version cancels the protection circuit and puts the resistors and capacitors into the board. It has not been verified, so use with caution.
The following is the original description:
suitable for 1S 3.7v lithium battery without protection board, 16pintypec interface or welding power supply, 0603 resistor and capacitor, the volume is compressed as much as possible (press the chip into the board), the circuit completely copies the chip manual, TP4057 charging The current setting is determined by the prog pin resistance, I=1000/R. However, due to the size of the circuit, the trace width should not exceed 0.6, and the theoretical maximum stability can be 0.3a;
but there seems to be a position problem in the design, and the research manual has not studied it clearly: the VSS of pin 6 of DW06D should be the same as pin 3 Pin S2 (the S pole of the discharge mos) is connected together, but I am not sure which power pin it is. The connection of pin 6 on the circuit is only 0.16mm, and the overcurrent is about 80ma. No problem was found during charging. Maybe it would be faster to directly short-circuit the battery negative terminal and GND...
It saves the two 5.1k of typec, so it does not support PD, and some chargers may not recognize it. TP4057 can be replaced by 4054, the difference is that 4054 does not have a full indicator light.
