STC8H8K64U MCU minimum system (100% direct plug-in components)

Overview

STC8H8K64U MCU Minimum System (100% Direct Plug-in Components)

1. Project IntroductionSTC8H

       series MCU is a MCU that does not require external crystal oscillator and external reset. It is an 8051 MCU with super strong anti-interference/ultra-low price/high speed/low power consumption as its goal. At the same operating frequency, STC8H series MCU is about 12 times faster than the traditional 8051 (11.2~13.2 times faster). The biggest feature of this MCU is that it can directly download and simulate programs through the USB interface. Therefore, a minimum system board with STC8H8K64U-DIP-40P direct plug-in type package is designed. All components on the entire board are in direct plug-in type package, which is easy to weld and is especially suitable for novices who are just getting started with MCU.

2. Minimum system board resource introduction
Main control chip: STC8H8K64U-DIP40;
Power interface: USB-A, direct plug-in;
LED: 1 power indicator light, 1 status display light;
Buttons: 1 system reset button, 2 function buttons (buttons 1 and 2 are used for USB and serial port debugging function configuration);
Crystal oscillator: 32.768KHz crystal oscillator, used as the basic clock of the RTC module inside the MCU;
Voltage reference: CJ431 chip 2.5V voltage reference, used for the reference voltage of the ADC module;
Debug interface: USB interface and TTL serial debugging interface (it is recommended to use USB interface for simulation debugging and downloading programs);
External pins: lead out all MCU I/O buckles, four power supplies (+5V) and ground (GND) expansion.

III. Simulation debugging settings

        Since the main control chip is not a simulation chip and does not have simulation function in the default state, if you need to use the simulation function, you also need to set the main control chip as a simulation chip. The steps to make a simulation chip are as follows: First, use a USB cable to connect the circuit board to the computer and enter the USB download mode: first press the SW2 button (P3.2/INT0) on the circuit board to ground, then turn off the SW1 power button to power off, then turn on the SW1 power button, and finally release the SW2 button (P3.2/INT0).
       Under normal circumstances, the "STC USB WriterHID1" device can be identified. Select "STC8H8K64U" as the microcontroller model. Use the USB port for simulation. Select the IRC frequency for the user program to run. The frequency selected when making the simulation chip must be consistent with the frequency set by the simulated user program to achieve a real running effect. Then click the "Set the selected target microcontroller as a simulation chip" button in the "Keil Simulation Settings" page in the right function area of the software.

       At this point, the simulation chip has been successfully made. Next, we open a project for simulation and then perform the following project settings, as shown in the figure. Confirm that the simulation settings are completed, and the detailed steps are shown in the figure below.
