Xiaoxun PD power supply line V1.0

 
Overview

1. Power supply cable developed for outdoor use of Ficom R1 speakers. Xiaoxun's power adapter supplies a maximum power supply of 17V3A, which is 51W, and Xiaoxun's input voltage range is a wide voltage of 4.5-24V. Our solution uses a PD decoy chip solution to enable the PD protocol mobile power supply to output a power of 20V5A Max. , so it can achieve lossless sound quality.
 
Main chip of the solution: HUSB238-003D with E-Maker detection function
 
2. The traditional hardware boost module solution cannot be compared with this solution for the following reasons.
 
1. Without any agreement, the maximum output of the power bank is 5V3A. Even after being boosted by the hardware boost module, the total power is only 15W, which is far less than the 51W required by Xiaoxun. When the sound is louder, the sound may break or crash.
2. The hardware boost module has low conversion efficiency, high cost and large volume.
3. The hardware boost module generates a lot of heat.
 
The advantages and disadvantages of using PD decoy line for power supply
1. The maximum support is 100W, which is much larger than the 51W required by Xiaoxun, and it can achieve lossless sound quality.
2. Low cost and small size.
3. The module basically does not generate heat without power conversion.
4. The disadvantage is that you must have a power bank that supports PD protocol 100W or 65W output (you can check the output logo of your power bank to confirm).
