FOC_Driver

Overview
Project Introduction:
This open-source project uses STMicroelectronics' STSPIN32G4 chip as the main controller. The STSPIN32G4 integrates an MCU, pre-driver, operational amplifier, and buck circuitry. Combined with external MOSFETs and resistors/capacitors, it implements a FOC driver with a minimal BOM.
Project Functionality
: With a PM3510 motor, it can implement both sensored and sensorless FOC. Currently, it has achieved a three-loop control system for position, speed, and current in a sensored FOC.
It can be used with a PM3510 motor to create a hub motor and other interesting applications, such as a brushless self-balancing car.
Project Parameters

: Input voltage 12~24V, maximum motor phase current 3A, compatible with PM3510 brushless DC motor.
Onboard bus voltage monitoring, over/under voltage protection, and
onboard NTC resistors provide over/over temperature protection.
CAN, UART, and SWD interfaces are all integrated with multiple protection software codes
for the pre-driver. Precautions : Do not exceed the rated power supply voltage. Do not stall for extended periods. Motor Physical Images: [ Image 1: Control Board] [Image 2: Motor Installation] [Image 3: Motor Installation]
