Snoring and sleep talking therapy device

Source: InternetPublisher:走马观花 Keywords: Detection electrical pulse Updated: 2025/10/21

This circuit can effectively stop snoring or sleep talking during sleep. After using it for a period of time, it will become a conditioned reflex and these problems can be gradually corrected. As soon as the snorer snores or the sleep talker talks in his sleep, the circuit will send out a pulse similar to a needle prick and electric numbing, waking the person up and stopping the snoring or sleep talking.
Working Principle

Snoring treatment device

The circuit is shown in Figure 1. After microphone MIC detects snoring or speech, it is coupled via C to a composite amplifier consisting of VT1 and VT2 for amplification. This signal voltage is boosted by T and then output controlled by RP.
MIC uses a standard electret condenser microphone. T is wound using the core of a portable radio output transformer, with 80 turns of 0.15mm Φ enameled wire on the primary and 5000 turns of 0.08mm Φ enameled wire on the secondary. RP is a 47kΩ potentiometer with a switch. The power supply is two AA batteries. The electrodes are made of copper sheets approximately 0.5-1mm thick, welded to two thin insulated wires. The copper sheets are bent into rings and placed around two non-adjacent fingers.
To use, first simulate snoring from 30-5cm away from the microphone. Adjust RP to achieve the desired level of electrical numbness between the fingers before use.
