BLHeil_s_J-H-30 single-unit ESC

 
Overview
Introduction: 
This project is a modified version of the open-source ESC by mtbsk8
(https://oshwhub.com/mtbsk8/ji-yu-blheil_s-gu-jian-dan-ti-wu-shua-dian-ji-dian-diao-esc).
It's a brushless ESC with BEC current meter power supply supporting a wide voltage range .
Application scenarios: 
Drone three-phase brushless motor control
. I. Product Introduction
: Drone three-phase brushless motor driver, adjustable speed, with current meter, supports a wide voltage range of 3-6S, supports multiple protocols, and has custom LED function.
 
II. Application Scenarios:
Drone, fixed-wing three-phase brushless motor control, wide voltage brushless motor driver, adjustable speed, with current meter, RGB LED.
 
III. Product Overview:
1. The logic power supply uses JW5026, and the BEC uses RY9121, reducing cost and size.
2. The control part uses EFM8BB21F16G chip, and the gate driver uses FD6288Q.
3. The main body has a built-in adjustable temperature protection threshold
. 4. Protocols support PWM, ONESHOT, MUTISHOT, DSHOT
, etc. 5. Power supply can support wide voltage 3-6S.
5. This module is a 4-layer PCB design with windowed overcurrent protection.
6. The ammeter uses INA199.

2. Firmware supports Bluebird and BLHeliSuite firmware

V. Instructions and Tutorials
1. ESC supports 3-6S
2. Signal pads: D is C2D, K is C2K, 5V is BEC positive, G is GND, CC is ammeter, IN is ESC signal interface, supports common PWM signals
3. The ESC has a 5V/2A BEC; if BEC function is not needed, the BEC components can be omitted.

VI. Notes:
1. The current carrying capacity of this driver has not been rigorously tested (due to limitations). Currently, it is tested with a Langyu 2212 2450KV 6-inch propeller motor, exhibiting stable performance and minimal heat generation during high-current operation. For high-current applications, it is recommended to apply solder.
2. Firmware version number is JH-30
. 3. A C2 downloader can be used.
5. Component cost is approximately 35 RMB (subject to actual cost).
6. Burning method (the parameter tuning software includes firmware, no need to download firmware again):
1) Open BLHeliSuite software
. 2) Select the "SILABS C2 (4way-if)" option
. 3) Connect the microcontroller to the motor position using "Connect".
4) Select "Flash BLHeli" to burn the firmware, and follow the prompts to select "JH-30" firmware to complete the burning process.
