After the user manually solders a PCB board, this board becomes the reflow controller, and then this board can be used to control other boards for reflow soldering, because this board has been specially designed to open a heating layer.
The core idea of USB portable programmable instruments is to provide electronic engineers and enthusiasts with a series of low-cost, portable, network-enabled, programmable, and open source practical tools. The multifunctional USB power supply is the first of its kind and is expected to complement traditional adjustable regulated power supplies.
In theory, it could connect to Google Calendar and show today's events while still being ongoing. Also on the list of features to be implemented is a switch or sensor that changes mode when the pen is removed, and buttons or touch controls for the user interface.
The current demonstration is running on RP2040, using one of the M0 cores as the GPU.
It introduces in detail how to build an SPI to 10BASE-T to realize network data sending and receiving. 10BASE-T uses two differential pairs: one for transmission and one for reception. Each pair is coupled through a transformer and the signals are differential and Manchester encoded. All schematics and diagrams are open.
NanoVNA is a small handheld vector network analyzer with LCD display and battery-powered portable device. This project aims to provide a useful RF gadget.
The measurement frequency range is 50KHz - 300MHz, and there are many derivatives based on this design on the Internet.
It's all open source, and their documentation is very detailed, which is a rare learning material.
3D printer filament can be produced from discarded water bottles, which will serve two key purposes: recycling plastic waste and producing 3D printer filament at extremely low cost.
The authors hope that as many people as possible will replicate and improve on this project. Therefore, all CAD, firmware and other resources are open source. Special consideration was also given to ensuring that all parts and tools used in the build process were easily sourced.
The current design solution uses an 8-bit ADC chip ADC08100 and a 100M bandwidth front-end analog circuit. In fact, if you want to play, you can improve the indicators and use AD9288 or the domestic alternative MXT2088. One chip has two channels and achieves a 250M sampling rate through rapid alternating sampling.
MiniQ is a mini quadcopter that is open source from hardware design to control algorithm. The algorithm used for the Altitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) is the DCM complementary filter. The system calculates the height and controls the output PWM of the four motors 1600 times per second. It can be controlled remotely via Bluetooth (Bluetooth Serial Port Profile).
A lightweight UAV flight control based on STM32F103.
Reflow Master Pro is designed to work in any oven - no algorithm adjustments required! That said, if you really want to tweak, you can switch from the classic Reflow Master algorithm to PID control and adjust your settings to your liking.
This time it’s an e-book based on the Raspberry Pi.
Might not be an actual working transmitter, but it does produce a few mW of RF power at 4 MHz using only two LMC555s.
Principle of Operation (see attached simplified schematic):
At lower operating voltages, the flip-flop (TR) input of the LMC555 can be used as an inverting comparator input to control the output of the device. This requires the Threshold (TH) input to be active (high). This circuit applies a DC bias at the switching threshold of TR and superimposes a small AC feedback signal to create an oscillator. An inverted version of the same signal is applied to the second LMC555 to produce two complementary open collector outputs (the device's discharge output). The output is then connected as a standard push-pull RF amplifier. The TH input is used as the enable input to key the transmitter.
Open Book is an open hardware device for reading books in all languages of the world. It includes a large screen and navigation buttons, as well as audio options for accessibility and ports to expand its functionality. Its fine screen printing aims to demystify Open Book's own design, breaking down for curious readers how the book works and how they can create one for themselves.
ChipWhisperer is a complete open source tool chain launched by NewAE for side-channel power analysis and fault attacks. The tool chain includes hardware, host computer software, and hardware chip firmware, all open source on Github. This set of equipment is mainly dedicated to hardware security research.
The Power Profiler Kit II (PPK2) is a stand-alone unit that, in addition to external hardware, can measure and optionally source current on all Nordic DK boards from sub-uA up to 1A.
An open source multimeter design based on STM32F1/F3, with dual-range V/I, RMS measurement, continuity, component testing and other functions. The author has made all design files open source, which is very suitable for DIY entry.
This smartwatch can measure linear acceleration, rotational speed, heart rate and SpO2 (oxygen saturation) of the hand
