How to implement an application based on wifi AD HOC mode [Copy link]

How to write an application based on WIFI AD HOC mode in WinCE? For example, on a PDA sold in the market, how to program a chat program based on this mode? Shouldn't I worry about the underlying layer? Should I use socket programming? Is it similar to infrared? I hope you can give me some advice.
