Full-function dual H-bridge
Perhaps the simplest reversible drive circuit is the H-bridge. Some BEAM robots use H-bridge motor drivers; many more use some variant of the H-bridge. Here is a simple conceptual diagram: [Image of a basic H-bridge with 4 switches, relays, transistors, or other circuitry to drive the motors]. In the diagram above, the switches are labeled A1, A2, B1, and B2. Since each of the four switches can be either open or closed, there are 2^4 = 16 possible switch settings. Many are useless; in fact, several should be avoided as they would short-circuit the power supply (e.g., A1 and B2 closed simultaneously). Four combinations are useful:
- Resistive switch network audio volume control
- Brightness control of small lamps
- 3-volt high-volume buzzer
- 100-second duration switch with touch control
- 12V brushed motor speed controller
- Novel motor Y-△ control step-down starting circuit
- Easy to make light controlled delayed flash toy car
- Homemade automatic replacement motorcycle horn
- Modern Approaches to Solid-State Relay Design
- Applying Color TV Delay Circuit to Reclosing
- Homemade disinfectant circuit
- Switching regulated power supply circuit
- Table printing machine control circuit
- Automatic door detection control circuit
- Steam iron temperature detection control circuit
- Taifu DK2-25 rice cooker temperature detection control circuit
- Forward and reverse control circuit of micro DC motor b
- Voltage servo motor and control circuit
- Temperature detection control circuit for vegetable greenhouses
- audio signal control circuit
