Using two BTS412B as high-side switches and two BU271L power MOSFETs
(50v, 䉉1n) as low-side switches, an H-bridge bidirectional DC motor drive circuit can be formed ,
as shown in Figure 11-1l. This circuit is designed for an electrical automatic door with a continuous current of 6A.
The four-leg switch is directly controlled by C MOS logic levels. The two BTS412B status outputs
are driven by a transistor with OR logic and an LED indicates the fault status. The middle point of the left bridge arm
is connected to a 12ktl resistor to the ground so that when all four switches of the H-bridge are turned off, the BTS412B will not
mistake it for an open load. Once a load open circuit occurs, the BTS412B on the right can detect
it and send a fault signal.
