Connection between PPMC and stepper motor dedicated drive integrated circuit

Shows the PPM C external UChl 5804 four- phase stepper motor drive integrated
circuit . It utilizes P-OUT, ccw/cw and HOLD outputs. The logic levels of pins 9 and 10 of UCN5804 can be used to set the motor to move in three different excitation modes: two-phase full step, single-phase full step, and half step. In this figure, the connection between the five limit switches and the P PMC via an optocoupler is also shown.
