KD-3252 is a dedicated CMOS integrated circuit for analog quartz clocks with an oscillation frequency of 32768Hz
. It consists of an oscillator, frequency divider circuit, output control circuit and
output buffer, as shown in the figure.
Characteristic parameters:
1) Powered by 1. 5V battery;
2) Current consumption is extremely small (typical value 1. 2vA);
3) Outputs 1 pulse per second to drive the motor. Two pulse widths are available:
31. 2ms, 46. 8ms.
4) When the alarm input pin is connected to Vss, the alarm output pin has a 2048×1Hz signal output.
