AC Voltage Multiplier (MC1594)

As shown in the figure is an AC voltage multiplication circuit. This circuit is composed of MC1594 four-quadrant multiplier. The circuit is simple and the accuracy is slightly poor. In order to make the circuit work in the linear region, the value of the input resistors R1 and R2 depends on the input voltage. The value of R1 is equal to V1 multiplied by 6, and the value of R2 is V2 multiplied by 3. If V1=V2=3V, then R1=18kΩ, R2=9kΩ. In the case of different input voltages, R1=52kΩ, R2=30kΩ is generally taken, but this will reduce the accuracy and linearity. The relationship between output and input is:
