Using 8255 to expand 64-channel input interface circuit
Source: InternetPublisher:Lemontree Keywords: interface circuit interface switch signal programming Updated: 2020/11/02
In a computer control system, when there are many switch signal circuits that need to be detected, a large number of input interfaces need to be expanded so that
all switch signals can be input to the computer. When the programmable chip 8255 is used to expand the input interface, each 8255 has 3 1/0 interfaces. All of them are initialized to the input working mode through
programming . Up to 24 switching signals can be input. Therefore, according to the number of input switching signals You
can calculate the number of 8255 chips required. Figure 27-29 shows the circuit using 8255 to expand the 64-channel input interface .
