Deep discharge of the battery will vulcanize the plates and shorten the service life of the battery. A discharge protector can be installed for this purpose . The circuit is shown in the figure. When the battery voltage drops to the termination value (the action threshold can be changed by the potentiometer RP), the relay KA is released, cutting off the load circuit and causing the battery to stop discharging.
