Small changes to the battery power supply circuit of the VATTI gas stove

A Guangdong-made VATTI JZT-B801C built-in gas stove is powered by two No. 1 batteries (3V) as the power source for pulse electronic ignition and ion induction flameout protection.

It is easy to operate and safe, but the battery usually needs to be replaced every three or four months.

In addition, gas stoves are generally embedded in kitchen cabinets, and it is not very convenient to replace batteries.

Therefore, the power supply is simply modified by retaining the original battery box and batteries, and leading two power lines from the original battery box. In addition, a circuit is formed with a three-terminal voltage regulator IC block (AME1117), as shown in the attached figure. The circuit is also powered by an external rechargeable battery of 6V or higher voltage (such as a lead-acid battery, lithium battery or nickel-metal hydride battery pack, etc.).

According to the circuit schematic and the typical application of the three-terminal voltage regulator IC block (AME1117), when Vin=4V, the output is 3V; when Vin＞4V, the output is 3.3V. To prevent the battery in the battery box in the gas stove from discharging, the circuit is isolated by a silicon diode VD. In this way, the voltage to the battery box after the isolation diode VD is 2.6V. The battery box can be equipped with two rechargeable No. 1 batteries with a voltage of 2.4V (practice has proved that two alkaline No. 1 batteries can also be placed in the battery box, and they will remain at 2.6V after being worn out. Generally, the electrolyte of alkaline batteries will not leak out after being worn out). In this way, the battery can basically be replaced for a long time. As long as the external rechargeable battery is charged regularly, the gas stove can be kept in uninterrupted use.

The above circuit board is small in size and can be directly fixed in the kitchen cabinet.
