A simple memory reader/writer

According to the attached figure, find two 4.7kΩ resistors, an 8-pin IC socket, and a female serial port. The serial port in Figure 1 is a male one, which is the serial port on the computer motherboard. When we solder, it is a female one, so we must match the pins one by one before we start.
After soldering is complete, connect the power supply as shown in Figure 1. I used the small battery in the MP3 player.
Install the software on the computer, plug the serial port reader into the computer COM port, and then set it up. Open the PonyProng2000 software, click "Settings - Interface Settings", in the pop-up window, select Serial/S1prongAPI/COM1 for I/O port settings, and click "Test". If there is no problem with the hardware, a test OK will appear, and finally click "Confirm". Complete the test settings.
