PACKAGING SPECIFICATION
1.0
SCOPE
This standard specifies the general requirements for the tube packaging of
Picoflex SMT Header Assemblies, series 90814/93405.
2.0
PURPOSE
The purpose of this specification is to assure that all 90814/93405 product
shipped from Molex arrives damage free and in a manner that allows ease of
handling, storage and distribution.
3.0
GENERAL
The shipping weight for a box from Molex should not exceed 15 kg.
The recommended carton closure is tape.
Bubble wrap may be used to fill up excess space in a carton if required.

PACKAGING OF STANDARD HEADERS
The Standard Headers are packaged in transparent antistatic u.P.V.C. tubes,
part no. 99024-0053.
The tubes are closed on each end with tape stops, part no. 96717-0002. The
tape stops are not to be placed on the face where the tube part number is
printed.
The full tubes are placed in a cardboard carton, part no. 91687-0012, with the
PCB pegs on the header facing upwards. The carton is closed with tape.
See Table 1 for packaging quantities of each circuit size.

PACKAGING OF LOW-PROFILE HEADERS
The Low-Profile Headers are packaged in transparent antistatic u.P.V.C.
tubes, part no. 99024-0048.
The tubes are closed on each end with tape stops, part no. 96717-0002. The
tape stops are not to be placed on the face where the tube part number is
printed.
The full tubes are placed in a cardboard carton, part no. 91687-0012, with the
PCB pegs on the header facing upwards. The carton is closed with tape.

The labels used are standard Molex Ireland labels and measure 127.0 x 76.2
mm, see example in Fig.1.
