(codenamed “Denlow”)
The 4th Generation Intel® Core™
processor i7/i5/i3 series with C226
(codenamed “Denlow”) is a quad or
dual-core processor featuring 22nm
process technology with Tri-Gate
transistors. Intel AES New Instruction
(AES-NI), allow security algorithms to
benefit from hardware acceleration
for data encryption and decryption.
The platform support dual-channel
DDR3/DDR3L 1600 MHz memory
at 1.5/1.35 V, thus it has power
and space efficiency. The platform
targeted at entry to mid branch office
routers,security appliances, UTM or Next
Generation Firewall appliances.
Intel’s AES-NI Technology
With Intel new Haswell CPU, the FW-8759
can take full advantage of Intel’s AES-NI
technology to improve data encryption
and decryption performance.
Watchdog Control LAN Bypass & Power
Off LAN Bypass
The embedded watchdog monitors the
system so that it can automatically trigger
a reset if software hangs ; bypass ports
allow users to have uninterrupted network
traffic even if a single in-line appliance is
shut down or is hung. Both are essential
features of a network appliance. FW-8759
support optional 3 pairs of Generation 3
LAN Bypass.
