MATERIALS
1. INSULATION SLEEVES: Heat-shrinkable, transparent blue, radiation cross-linked modified polyvinylidene fluoride.
2. SOLDER PREFORMS WITH FLUX:
SOLDER: TYPE Sn63 per ANSI-J-STD-006.
FLUX:
TYPE ROL1 per ANSI-J-STD-004.
3. MELTABLE RINGS: Thermally stabilized thermoplastic. Color: gray.
4. GROUND LEAD: Raychem 55A0111-XY in accordance with MIL-W-22759/32, AWG XY (see table), stranded tin plated.
Color: white.
5. GROUND LEAD: Raychem 55A0111-XY in accordance with MIL-W-22759/32, AWG XY (see table), stranded tin plated.
Color: white with black strip.
APPLICATION
1. These parts are designed to provide an environment protected coaxial termination on cables, rated for 125°C minimum, meeting the
dimensional criteria listed, and having a tin or silverplated shields.
2. Temperature range: -55°C to +150°C. Install using Raychem-approved convection or infrared heating tools in accordance with
Raychem process standard RCPS-200-36.
For best results, prepare the cable as shown:
