beam connector is the

push pull mechanical

interface.

This product offers a smooth easy to mate optical

connection in a small size design and allows use

in harsh environments where

high speed

transmission links are required. The specific design

of the lenses garanties a large beam diameter and

a low loss connection insensitive to dust and dirt.

The

mechanical

interface is similar to

the pushpull 1.6/5.6

RF connector and

exists with plugs and

bulkhead

receptacles.
