Description:
MT-RJ polishing jig for fiber optic connectors
Optokon´s stainless steel polishing jig, type OPJC-CO MJ-01-M, is designed for manual polishing
operation. A precisely cut hole prevents even the slightest misalignment of the connector end face
touching the polishing surface. A uniquely designed opening allows polishing the assembled connector
type MT-RJ with the highest quality results.
The Optokon MT-RJ jig is designed for professional fiber optic installer. Equipped with three sapphire
stones, the jig will not grind away during polishing. Less expensive jigs leave a residue (actual jig
material) that can scratch and contaminate the fiber end-face, causing increased dB loss and less
reliable performances.
The Optokon MT-RJ jig pays for itself by eliminating costly repairs due to faulty terminations as well as
by greatly extending the life of your polishing paper.
