• The use of gaskets is not recommended with crimp socket contacts.

• The contact type determines image of connector. Pin right-angle contacts are always plug image, all other contacts, straight pin or

sockets are receptacle image.

• When using crimp contacts with 20 gage barrel, barrel must be cut off prior to removing contact from body.
