Copper Patch Cords

Category 6 and Category 6A patch cords shall be
constructed of fully shielded or unshielded twisted pair
stranded copper cable with the addition of a ninth
conductor. The patch cords shall be terminated at each
end with an enhanced performance modular plug that
also terminates the ninth conductor on the top of the
plug. The patch cords shall be used in conjunction with
intelligent patch panels containing the ninth
conductor receptacle.
