Edac Series 625 (Plug) and 626 (Receptacle) D-
Subminiature connectors are one of the most well-known
D-Sub connector families in the world. These series fea-
ture a deep 0.590 (14.99mm) footprint in the popular D
-
shell sizes of 9, 15, 25, and 37 contacts. They will mate
with all other industry-standard D-Sub connectors that are
based on EIA RS232, EIA RS449, and MIL-C-24308 stan-
dards. All connectors feature a metal shell for EMI/RFI
shielding and have up to four prong board locks for superior
retention to the printed circuit board. Indents on the plug
shell provide grounding and additional mating retention.
Grounding features include top or bottom ground plates. All
units are a right angle design with printed circuit contacts.
Threaded inserts and standoffs are optional.

025 = 25 pins. Available in 9, 15, 25 or 37 pins.
262 = Contact Style :
262 = gold flash (euro class 3). Other standard plating options include 562 for 10u
gold plate (euro class 2), and 662 for 30u gold plate (euro class 1).
0 = Modification Code :
0 = standard part. A code of 9 indicates that this is a custom product. Edac can
custom manufacture D-Subs to meet any design criteria. This includes unique contact plating, special con-
tact lengths, board mount options, or panel mount hardware, and alternate plastics or metals.
1 = Board Mounting Options:
1 = 0.120 (3.05mm) diameter through-hole top ground; 2 = 0.120 (3.05mm)
diameter through-hole bottom ground; 3 = two-prong board locks for 0.120 (3.05mm) diameter PCB hole
(standard for ferrite versions); 4 = four-prong board locks for 0.120 (3.05mm) diameter PCB hole.
0 = Panel Mounting Options :
0 = 4-40 UNC fixed standoff; 1 = 0.125 (3.18mm) diameter through-hole; 2 =
4-40 UNC threaded insert; 3 = 4-40 UNC threaded standoff.
