Product Description
Winchester’s KINGS
®
brand keyed RF
connector offering was designed for
aerospace applications where it is critical to
ensure connectors are mated to the correct
system port.
Keyed TNC Plug connectors feature an
extended length coupling nut which contains
a machined flat and keying rib that is offered
in 24 different keying angles.
Keyed TNC Jack connectors feature an
extended length body with a keying flange
that contains a machined flat and keying slot
to mate to the corresponding Keyed TNC
Plug.
Keyed connections are achieved by aligning
the flat features of the plug and jack and also
the plug keying rib to the same angle keying
slot on the jack. Plug and jack connectors
that do not have the same keying angle will
not mate.
All connectors were designed for Boeing’s
BMS 13-65 cables. The performance is
equivalent to standard connectors of each
series.
In addition to Keyed TNC Connectors, our
KINGS
®
brand also offers Keyed Type N and
SC connectors.
• Keyed TNC Plug connectors
have an extended length
coupling nut that features a
flat and a keying rib that can
be located at up to 24 different
angles, or keyed positions,
from the flat feature.
• Keyed TNC Jack connectors
have an extended body with a
keying flange that has a
machined flat on one side and
a keying slot designed to mate
to the keying rib contained on
the plug connector.
• Standard TNC Plug
connectors can mate to a
Keyed TNC Jack connector,
but standard TNC Jack
connectors will not mate to a
Keyed TNC Plug.
