Metalized PPS Film Capacitors
(Polyphenylene Sulfide Film)
Type 842P axial-lead, wrap-and-fill capacitors feature a very high temperature rating and excellent
capacitance stability in a rugged, lightweight package. They have an operating temperature range of
-55°C to +150°C; capacitance range of 0.01µF to 15.0µF; and voltage ratings of 50 to 200 VDC.
Capacitance tolerances of ±10%, ±5%, and ±2% are available.
Physical sizes range from 0.170” dia. by 0.400” long to 0.870” dia. by 2.060” long. The package
has axial leads with moisture-resistant and flame-retardant epoxy end seals and outer tape covering.
Capacitors can be supplied taped-and-reeled for use with automatic insertion equipment.
