ZDK Description
Oki’s ZigBee Developers Kit (ZDK) allows you to quickly
evaluate and then seamlessly develop ZigBee wireless
communications solutions. The key hardware element of the
ZDK is the ZigBee Network Evaluation Demo (zNED) which
features Oki’s ML7065 radio chip, the ML67Q4061 ARM7-
based MCU, and the MEMS-based 3D accelerometer ML8953.
Two USB radio dongles are also included for a quick ZigBee
network emulation by Windows based PCs. In addition to
the run time libraries of the Oki’s ZigBee Stack for ARM, a
number of Oki’s partners have provided evaluation versions
of supporting software to make this a complete and power-
ful ZigBee development tool.

zNED Description
Oki’s zNED is a ZigBee Certified Platform designed to be a part of
the ZDK and is also offered stand-alone to allow you to add
more nodes to your development network so you can
adequately evaluate ZigBee for your application. In addition to a
rich feature set, zNED’s modular concept enhances your design
flexibility by offering you the ability to plug in various radio
boards and antenna choices as well as reuse the radio board in
your proof of concept prototype.
