Overview

The QorIQ ® Qonverge BSC9131 reference design board (RDB) application development system is aimed at wireless base station applications and is used to develop L1, L2 and L3 protocol stacks and applications above L3. Reference design boards can also be used to evaluate general embedded and industrial applications. The BSC9131 RDB verifies the operation of the BSC9131 processor device and provides an end-to-end overview of system performance characteristics.

The highly integrated BSC9131 is mainly targeted at the growing small base station market and combines the e500 Power Architecture CPU and SC3850 StarCore ® DSP with the MAPLE-B2F baseband acceleration processing element to meet the market's demand for high-performance, economical integrated solutions. The solution handles all required processing layers without the need for additional external processing devices.
