The M24SR-DISCOVERY demonstration kit is based on the M24SR64 device and is used to evaluate the features and capabilities of the M24SR series. This suite comes in two versions: Standard and Premium.
In addition to all the features of the standard version, the premium version also comes with a headset and a Bluetooth module to demonstrate how to easily connect it to a smartphone via NFC.
The M24SR64 device is a dynamic NFC/RFID tag integrated circuit with dual interfaces. It has built-in 64 Kbits EEPROM memory. It can be operated via an I2C interface, or by a 13.56 MHz RFID reader or NFC mobile phone.
The I2C interface uses a bidirectional data line and a clock line. From the perspective of the I2C protocol, it is a slave device.
RF protocol follows ISO/IEC 14443 Class A and NFC Forum Class 4 tags.
The board is powered by the USB bus. It also contains an STM32F103 microcontroller to drive the EEPROM via I2C and the LCD display via the SPI bus.
