One RFID/NFC module for all current low and high frequency transponder tags - TWN4 MultiTech Nano
Elatec TWN4 MultiTech Nano is an extremely small (31 x 17.8 x 2.5mm / 1.22 x 0.7 x 0.12inch) RFID/NFC module based on TWN Technology . Because of its miniature size, it can be easily integrated into machines with limited space. These include mobile devices such as handheld card readers, tablets, monitors, terminals and POS systems, suitable for real payment applications since the Nano module is EMVCo ready. Therefore, it enhances the role of smartphones, allowing them to be increasingly used as human-machine interfaces in Industry 4.0 scenarios. It supports over 60 transponder technologies from both low frequency (125kHz and 134.2kHz) and high frequency (13.56MHz) (i.e. Calypso, HID Prox, HID iClass, LEGIC, MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire EV1, NTag 2xx, NFC Tag Forum Types 1-5, etc.) and technologies compliant with ISO14443A/B (T=CL), ISO15693, ISO18092/ECMA-340 (NFC), etc.
The TWN4 MultiTech Nano must be connected via a printed circuit board to an external antenna. Its powerful hardware can be expanded by supporting transponders to suit individual requests. Extensive technical support makes this product very attractive to hardware manufacturers, integrators and solution developers who offer its solutions internationally. By deploying RFID readers based on TWN technology , they do not need to worry about the responder type used by the client facility as all current responder types are supported and new ones are added regularly.
