The FRDMGD3160DSBHB is a half-bridge evaluation kit with two GD3160 single-channel IGBT/SiC MOSFET gate driver devices installed. The kit contains the Freedom KL25Z microcontroller hardware, connected to a PC with Flex GUI software installed, and can be daisy-chained or configured independently to communicate with the SPI registers on the GD3160 gate driver.
The KITGD3160TREVB conversion board is used to convert the 3.3 V signal between the MCU and the GD3160 gate driver to a 5.0 V signal. The evaluation kit can be connected to the NVG800A75L4DSB (with onsemi’s VE-Trac ™ Dual IGBT module) for half-bridge evaluation and application development.
