The S32 hardware debugger connects to a developer workstation via Ethernet or USB and debugs NXP target systems via a standard debug port. According to industry standard terminology, the S32 hardware debugger may also be called a hardware debugger, JTAG hardware debugger, JTAG emulator or target hardware debugger.
With the S32 debugger's Ethernet connection, developers can debug systems remotely and more efficiently share the same system within the same team. Alternatively, the S32 hardware debugger connects directly to the developer's workstation using a USB cable. The S32 Hardware Debugger is designed for use with the S32 Design Studio and NXP automotive microcontrollers and processors. It is a key debugging tool in all phases of the project.
