The QorIQ ® LS1024A communications processor is used in a wide range of applications, from high-end VoIP and video-enabled home gateways, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and high-performance security appliances to Power over Ethernet 802.11n enterprise access points and commercial network-attached storage products .
The QorIQ LS1024A Reference Design Board (LS1024ARDB) is a compact tool that can be used to evaluate the LS1024A solution for these and other low-end networking applications. The LS1024ARDB also features an expansion header that can be used to add additional components such as an LCD panel.
