The MicroByte is a tiny console capable of running games from the NES, GameBoy, GameBoy Color, Game Gear and Sega Master systems, with all components designed into this 78 x 17 x 40 mm package. Although the finished product is small in size, it conforms to the layout of an SNES game pad and features action buttons. It also comes with a clear 1.3-inch IPS display to see all the details of the game. On the other hand, the display's backlight can be controlled to select brightness levels, which is accomplished through BS138 MOSFET transistors controlling the current flow to the LEDs embedded in the display. Use MAX98357 as audio amplifier. The driver is connected to speakers or headphones and provides 6.4W output power. The entire project's firmware, schematic design, PCB design, shell 3D file, BOM list, etc. can be downloaded from below.
