Overview

The i.MX RT1160 crossover MCU is part of the EdgeVerse™ edge computing platform and enables 600 MHz performance. This MCU family combines superior computing power, multiple media capabilities, and real-time capabilities with ease of use. The dual-core i.MX RT1160 uses the Arm ^® Cortex ^® -M7 core clocked at 600 MHz and the Arm Cortex-M4 clocked at 240 MHz, while providing excellent security. The i.MX RT1160 MCU supports a wide temperature range and is suitable for consumer electronics, industrial and automotive markets. The i.MX RT1160 Evaluation Kit (EVK) provides a high-performance solution powered by a 6-layer PCB with a through-hole design for better EMC performance - and at a low cost.
