The main hardware uses the TDA2030 chip
TDA 2030 is a power amplification integrated circuit with very excellent performance. Its main features are high rise rate and small transient intermodulation distortion. Among the dozens of popular power amplification integrated circuits, the only one that specifies transient intermodulation distortion indicators is There are several including TDA 2030. We know that transient intermodulation distortion is an important factor in determining the quality of an amplifier, and this integrated amplifier is an important advantage.
Another feature of the TDA2030 integrated circuit is its high output power and relatively complete protection performance. According to the information available, among the monolithic integrated circuits produced in various countries, the maximum output power is only 20W, but the output power of TDA 2030 can reach 18W. If two circuits are used to form a BTL circuit, the output power can be increased to 35W. On the other hand, due to the high power supply voltage and large output current of high-power integrated blocks, they may be damaged if they are not careful during use. However, in the TDA 2030 integrated circuit, a relatively complete protection circuit is designed. Once the output current is too large or the case is overheated, the integrated block can automatically reduce the current or cut off to protect itself (of course, this protection is conditional, we Never use it inappropriately because of its protective function).
The third feature of the TDA2030 integrated circuit is that the peripheral circuit is simple and easy to use. Among the various existing power integrated circuits, its pins belong to the smallest category, with only 5 terminals in total. Its appearance is like a plastic-sealed high-power tube, which brings a lot of convenience to use.
TDA2030 outputs 14 watts of power (distortion ≤ 0.5%) when the power supply voltage is ±14V and the load resistance is 4Ω; when the power supply voltage is ±16V and the load resistance is 4Ω, it outputs 18 watts of power (distortion ≤0.5%) . Due to its low price, high quality and ease of use, this circuit is being increasingly used in various styles of radio cassette players and high-fidelity stereo equipment. This circuit can be used in low-frequency course design.
