Overview

Original intention of the project

After seeing the activities of RTT + Lichuang EDA, I immediately arranged the project. I felt that relatively few people would think of CAT1, so I brought CAT1 to play with it. The Internet of Things family bucket can do a lot of fun things*^O^

Design reason

  1. Why use CAT1 instead of AI cameras, etc. Generally, CAT1 speed is enough (it has 4G signal and is half the price of 4G).
  2. There is no price advantage compared to NB, but NB still has a certain network delay (because it does not have low power consumption, I will not consider NB. After all, it is a development board, do I need to consider the cost)?
  3. Why use EC600S? It can be used for secondary development, transparent transmission, protocol processing and so on. The secondary development of 600S is developed using Quecpython . Those who want to learn PY can do it o(* ̄︶ ̄*)o
  4. Independent GPS positioning is faster (previously, I used a 2-in-1 module to position and plug in the antenna and it took 2 minutes in an open space, I was scared). ~~~~
  5. Use lora to combine various slave machines or sensors and establish a protocol for communication. It is not difficult to use lora and the power consumption is also very suitable.

Additional functions~~~~

  1. You can choose to use EC600S or ART-PI to drive LORA and GPS modules through resistors.
  2. It already has a TYPE-C interface to facilitate secondary development of EC600S. I saw that the base plate has a USB_OTA interface. I also made a DIP switch to see if I can use the TYPE-C on the base plate to achieve debugging.
  3. With a charging capacitor, I can provide RTC power supply to the bottom board.
  4. By the way, the audio and LCD display functions of EC600S are incorporated.
