Love Tomb Style No. 185-Fast charging/USB transmission dual-function hub

Overview

Hub IC: FE8.1

Fast charging IC: IP6525S

Requirements: 9-35V input to the DC socket, 5V connected to the data line to the computer to operate

This work realizes the reuse of USB socket, which can be switched to transmitting data and fast charging charger.

Of course, fast charging cannot be turned on at the same time as data transmission because it occupies the same DMDP pin.

The switch switches the above mode switching, and there is a mode indicator light

There is a fast charging indicator light in fast charging mode

6525S personally thinks it is an excellent fast charging solution, and the same FE8.1 also has a good reputation in the USB HUB field.

The key to switching is the analog switch chip. Since the pins are not ideal, priority is given to the HUB and the holder for wiring. The fast charging identification circuit is slightly more modest, but it does not affect it. It is also to improve the stability of data transmission.

The capacitor is relatively luxurious, and I hope it can work stably.

The board has been drawn up and will be shared after actual testing. I prefer this plan for your reference.

Because my board style is always considered by the group to be very copycat, my skills are very poor, and of course I can’t draw anything good. If you are interested, you can copy the schematics and simply modify your own LAY board, which is the best

Come to think of it, today is the 185th day, llx

This was originally a video, but if I update the file, the review will be hidden from the display on my homepage... Besides, they are on holiday now, so I will use the EDA domain name for a simple report.

There is currently no problem with the HUB, and the actual speed complies with the speed standard corresponding to USB2.0

Performance of fast charging dock under no agreement

But I still want to say that the voltage of the fast charging chip will drop to no less than 4.9V under low current output. The current in the range of 200-700 mA basically works at 4.91V, and other current ranges will output voltages above 5V.
