Overview

The main goal of this project is to make a very small and cheap LCR meter to measure small impedances below 100 Ohm at a low enough test voltage (0.25 Vamp). The main purpose of this device is to measure electrolytic capacitors in circuits, measure the impedance of inductors and motors, and be able to detect short circuits on PCBs. Impedance measurement range: 10 Ohm, 100 Ohm Measurement frequency: 1 Hz, 10 Hz, 100 Hz, 1 kHz Test voltage: 0.25 V amplitude (0.5V peak-to-peak) Evaluation parameters: - Impedance [Ohm], Resistance [Ohm], Reactance [Ohm] - Inductance [H], Quality factor [-] - Capacitance [F], Dissipation factor [-] Each measurement can be fast or slow and statistics can be evaluated (for each parameter, Standard deviation is estimated).
