This is an installed STM32F103 minimum system board that can perform BOOT selection, SWD simulation, and has a controlled indicator light and power indicator light. Insert it into the mounting hole (a set of headers corresponding to this version), and you can plug and play the STM32 microcontroller. It is helpful for projects in the debugging stage. This universal board can save money on buying STM32 for debugging.
The minimum system board is composed of STM32F103ZET6 microcontroller (other microcontrollers of the same type can be used universally), clock circuit, reset circuit, BOOT selection circuit, power indicator circuit, microcontroller control indicator circuit, and SWD debugging circuit.
The length is approximately 6 cm, the width is approximately 4.7 cm, and the height is approximately 1.5 cm.
The biggest challenge is the size of the board. If a pin header is used as a connecting device, no matter how small the board is, it cannot be smaller than the size of the pin header. Basically, this design is close to the limit. In addition, the small size of the board will make wiring difficult. Perhaps changing to a multi-layer board can alleviate this problem.
The installation-type minimum system board can make up for the shortcomings of chip-type chips that do not have an IC holder, allowing the chip to be easily replaced.
