ExpressLRS is an open source RC linker for RC applications. It's based on the excellent semtech SX127x/SX1280 hardware along with ESP8285, ESP32 or STM32. ExpressLRS supports a wide range of hardware platforms and both frequency 900MHz
and 2.4GHz
frequency options. ExpressLRS uses LoRa modulation along with reduced packet sizes to achieve optimal range and latency compared to current commercial products.
ExpressLRS can operate at various packet rates, the highest 500hz
or lowest 25hz
depending on your preference for range or low latency. The 900MHz
maximum 200Hz
packet rate is supported. The A 2.4GHz
-Bubble 500Hz
is currently being expanded to support future plans with custom openTX binaries 1000Hz
.
ExpressLRS can be flashed into existing Frsky R9M hardware (RX and TX), jumper R900 RX, GHOST ATTO/ZEPTO receivers, or a custom PCB if you prefer tinkering. Several manufacturers are preparing to offer official ELRS hardware soon, so stay tuned.
